Elementary-aged children (6-12) are invited to attend our "Owls of the Gila Region" program at the Silver City Public Library. Kids will learn about characteristics of birds in general, specifically owls. They will discover and compare owl species found in this area, learn how owls help people, and how people can help owls. They will also make their own origami owl to take home! Adult chaperone preferred for young children.
