Conservation is Key: Bird-Friendly Windows Workshop
In June, we held a workshop on making windows bird friendly. Attendees heard a short talk, then were able to try their hand at making bird friendly windows, using picture frames and a variety of potential bird deterrent designs including soap, tempera paint, decals and donated commercially available products. Many attendees had experienced window strikes at home and were excited to see how simple preventing them could be.
If you missed the workshop and want to learn more about what you can do to stop birds hitting your windows, please check out the additional resources in this newsletter and on our website [www.birdallianceswnm.org/home-habitats].
