Merlin Adds “Nearby Places”

The latest update to the Merlin Bird ID app is "Nearby Places," a feature that takes you from learning about a bird to finding one near you. On the home screen, tap on "Explore" then select or search for the name of a bird species likely near your location. When you tap on the bird species name, you'll see a "Nearby Places" button. Tap it for a list of locations near you where that species has been observed.* (*Based on the past five years of eBird user data).
